Thermal-Tech Homes, Inc.

Thermal-Tech Homes, Inc. has been building quality custom and spec homes in Brazoria County since 1984. The company was started by Derek W. Sills. His wife, Linda Shaw Sills, joined him in 1987 to help operate the growing business.

Both Derek and Linda Sills are natives of Lake Jackson, and are familiar with the area's economy and market for new homes. Derek personally supervises all work during each phase of the building process while Linda personally helps clients coordinate and customize their new home interiors.

A large showroom, featuring brick, carpet, ceramic tile, vinyl flooring, cabinet styles, wallpaper, faucets, paint colors, and a complete customized bathroom and kitchen is provided at the Thermal-Tech office for clients' convenience in making selections.

Hundreds of blueprints from four Houston-based architects are also available at the office. Clients who prefer can have a custom print drawn up for a dream house to suit their own personal wants and needs.

Thermal-Tech Homes, Inc. constructs all new homes to meet State Board of Insurance specifications, which makes homes more structurally sound, improves overall quality, and results in a savings on homeowner's insurance.

Last year, Thermal-Tech Homes, Inc. had built in Timbcrcreek, Flagridge Estates, Columbia Lakes, Jackson Oaks, Pecan Acre Estates, and Audubon Woods. This year, Thermal-Tech Homes, Inc. is building in Flagridge Estates with 32 lots of 100 x 150 ft. or larger for new custom homes.
