Varner Hogg State Historical Park

Activities: This ante-bellum plantation home in West Columbia is the county's only remaining plantation home that is regularly open to tours. Three different families were owners of the Greek Revival mansion before it became a state historical park. Ima Hogg donated the property to the state in 1958, and since then visitors have toured the house to see what the Old South was like.
